By Car:

• Knebworth Barns can be accessed directly from the Junction 7 roundabout of the A1(M) motorway at Stevenage South. There are signs on both carriageways of the motorway.
• If using Sat Nav input the postcode SG1 2AX for Knebworth Barns (Don’t use the Knebworth House postcode)
• Once on the grounds, follow the signage towards the Barns
• There is plenty of complimentary parking, including disabled parking outside of Knebworth Barns

By Train:

• The nearest rail station is Stevenage with non-stop services from London St Pancras  in 30 minutes or under
  • There are also frequent Inter-City connections from Cambridge, York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow
• A shuttle bus service will run from Stevenage station every 15 minutes from 07:05 – 09:20
  and the return journey will be every 15 mins from 17:30 – 19:30

By Air:

The nearest rail station is Stevenage, which is approximately two miles from Knebworth Park.

Trains run to Stevenage Station from London King’s Cross and St Pancras Station around every 15 minutes.

At the exit barriers at Stevenage Station, turn right. You’ll see dedicated staff at the station who will guide Retail Jam attendees to the shuttle bus pick-up point.

We recommend booking your trains in advance via www.thetrainline.com.

There will be organised shuttle buses running between Stevenage Station and the Retail Jam venue.

The shuttle service will run from 07:05am to 9:20am on a loop between Stevenage Station and the venue.

The return journey will run every 15 mins from 17:30 – 19:30

There will be multiple shuttles running, so we do not anticipate wait times being very long.

Retail Jam is an outdoor event, so we recommend dressing comfortably and preparing for all types of British weather.

We suggest wearing:

• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
• Practical footwear suitable for walking around an outdoor venue.
• Layers or rain protection, just in case.

To make the most of your day, we recommend bringing the following essentials:

• A refillable water bottle.
• A notebook and pen for ideas, notes and conversations.
• Comfortable shoes, as you’ll be walking around the venue.
• Weather protection, such as sunscreen, sunglasses, layers or a raincoat depending on the forecast.
• A portable phone charger so you can stay connected throughout the day.

Much of the ingredients used in the Barns kitchens are grown onsite, or made up of fresh, seasonal produce

General waste is sorted at an external recycling facility. Garden waste is used for walkways, decoration, wildlife homes and compost – eliminating the need for chemical fertilizers and reducing pesticide use. 

There are multiple electric vehicle charging points nearby including a GRIDSERVE Charging Station located just outside the grounds

• RetailJam will be hosted partially outdoors across flat grass, paved and gravel surfaces
• Knebworth Barns has step-free access
• Working assistance dogs may be taken into all areas
• Disabled parking is available in the main Knebworth Barns car park
